Frequently Asked Questions
What types of PDFs are supported?
Text-based PDFs created from Word, Google Docs, or printed from a web page. Scanned (image-based) PDFs require OCR, which is not currently supported.
Will the formatting be preserved?
No. The output is plain text with no fonts, colors, or table borders.
Will a multi-page PDF be split into multiple files?
No. All pages are merged into a single .txt file.
Will non-English characters display correctly?
Yes. The output is UTF-8 encoded, so international characters are fully supported.
Can I convert a password-protected PDF?
No. Please remove the password protection first.
