Can I convert a scanned PDF to Word?
Not currently. Scanned PDFs are essentially images and require OCR to extract text (OCR support is not available yet, but it's on our roadmap).
Will the formatting be messed up after conversion?
Text-based PDFs convert with near-perfect formatting. Complex layouts (such as resumes or posters) may need minor manual touch-ups.
Will the output file be .doc or .docx?
Always .docx (Word 2007+ format), which can be opened by any modern version of Word, Google Docs, or WPS.
Can I convert a password-protected PDF?
No. Please remove the password protection with another tool before uploading.
Are my files stored on your servers?
No. All uploaded and output files are automatically deleted after 2 hours.
